Noticed its been a while since I last made a journal entry. Thought I might bring everyone up to speed and cover a topic that I feel needs to be covered.

First off, we are still on schedule to have the second half of Star Wars: The Shadow Wars begin by or before May 4th. I'm sticking to that deadline. Episodes might start appearing before then though. We'll see where that goes.

Y'all may have noticed some Mass Effect related imagery appearing in my favorites gallery but that's pretty much as far as that's going. I don't have any big plans for a Mass Effect story at the present time. I'm passing on Mass Effect: Andromeda. I've just seen too much that sways me away (crappy animations, an even crappier ending than ME3, and much more). I might start uploading some Mass Effect images of my own. Probably won't be uploading my Shepard though. I'd need to reinstall ME1, ME2, and purchase ME3 for my PC to do that (Have all 3 for Xbox where screenshots are hard to pull with my duct tape operation).

I do have the synopsis for a story written though, a story tentatively called "Brotherhood Lost" and focuses on a small cast of characters, none of which being any of the main cast, the story taking place roughly a few days prior to the beginning of Mass Effect 2. I might start writing for it, depending on how I feel.

...

Now on the subject of my writing. Someone asked me what the "moral" or the "take away" for one of my stories was. Simple answer...

None.

I don't write stories to impart some kind of message, moral, or life lesson. I write to entertain, both myself and others. If you get some kind of moral from a story, then it's purely accidental or one you derived from it on your own. I don't make any deliberate political or moral statements in my stories. So don't go into one of my stories expecting some kind of message. I also deliberately try to shy away from making parallels to modern day events. The closest I've ever come was when I wrote Batman: Political Suicide which I wrote during the 2016 Election but in my defense, that story was conceived of and fleshed out loooooong before that point in time and, again, there are no intentional political statements made in that story.

So you can feel confident that whenever you read my stories, that the goal of each story is simply to entertain, not to impart some kind of message or moral.

Anyway, that's my stance on that.

As mentioned at the beginning, we're still on course for the Shadow Wars to pick back up by or before May 4th.

I will say that, the recent Rebels season has been quite impressive. I won't spoil anything but Darth Maul's hunt for Kenobi will end quite differently than it did in Rebels (which in itself was a bit lackluster).

So keep R&Ring...
