Anakin Solo's Delta-7B

During the restoration of the Jedi Grand Temple on Coruscant, construction crews uncovered a hangar full of old Delta-7, Delta-7B, and Eta-2 interceptors, virtually untouched since the temple's abandonment at the end of the Clone Wars. The Jedi Order quickly laid claim to the old interceptors, restoring a good number of them to full operational status. Most of the starfighters still relied on the old hyperspace rings that had long since been destroyed so the Temple mechanics, on Grand Master Luke Skywalker's order, began retrofitting the starfighters with compact hyperdrives, thus eliminating the need for the hyperspace rings.

During the evacuation of Ossus, although the evacuation was largely calm and organized, some pieces of non-vital equipment were left behind. Among this equipment was Anakin Solo's unfinished Delta-7 Aethersprite. Due to the fact that Ossus, although still hidden from the Sith, was behind enemy lines, the Jedi Council forbade any attempts to return to Ossus unless the specific need to return was deemed necessary. In Anakin's case, the recovery of his incomplete Delta-7 was deemed unnecessary. Fortunately he was allowed to select one of the recently discovered interceptors to replace the one he lost on Ossus. Anakin selected a Delta-7B and had it painted up in a style reminiscent to his grandfather's old Azure Angel starfighter. Beyond the new colors and the aforementioned hyperdrives, the only addition made to the fighter was the installation of deflector shielding.
