U.S.S. Tiber

Class: Danube Runabout w/Torpedo Rollbar

The U.S.S. Tiber is one of two Danube Runabouts assigned to the Corbulo. The Runabouts have proven highly effective away mission craft and are especially useful given their ability to perform a warp tow. Since the end of the Dominion War, the torpedo rollbar has become such a common addition to the Danube class, it's rare to find a runabout without one and even the Sunshine Fleetyards on earth have begun building them with the rollbars preinstalled. Starfleet has also experimented with multi-vessel warp tows, experimenting to see how many Danube runabouts are needed to tow certain vessels. The largest vessel a single Danube can tow (albeit at Warp 1) is a Sovereign Class Assault Cruiser, however two runabouts can tow a Sovereign at warp 4.6. This was enough to warrant the addition of the Tiber and it's "twin" the Nile to the Corbulo's shuttle compliment.

The Corbulo's crew have nicknamed the two runabouts "the river brothers" and refers to the U.S.S. Nile as Niles.

The Corbulo's shuttle compliments include 2 Danube runabouts, one Delta Flyer Shuttlecraft, two Type-8 shuttles, the Captain's Yacht, 8 Workbees in an auxiliary specialized hangar especially for them, and (although technically not a shuttle due to its size), the S.S. Thenardier.
